Dae, an AI-enabled mental health app, announced today it has raised $3.8M in pre-seed funding led by Topology and Parable, with participation from Uncommon Ventures and angel investors from The Browser Company and Substack.
Dae will use the funding to grow its team across mental health, product, and community, and to build a visualization-first mental health app that maps emotions into patterns, insights, and next steps.
Dae is founded by Paari Kandappan (CEO) and Lisa Luo (CTO), longtime collaborators who have been building mobile products together for over a decade after meeting as engineers at HQ Trivia.
"We want to give people a way to see their inner life with the same clarity they see their steps, sleep, or finances," said Paari Kandappan, CEO of Dae. "Dae maps emotions into signals and patterns, so you can understand what's happening—and what actually helps—without wading through generic advice."
